Officer Meeting Minutes 1/14/09

Officer Meeting will be on Monday at 7 pm
Office hours have been decided for officers and will be posted on the SEDS door
The hours will be in affect Jan 20th
Decorating the office will be glowing stars, posters, bookshelf being nailed to the wall
Telescope manual will be made by Kyle
The telescope manual will be on google documents for people to edit
There will be a group picture for second meeting with telescope
There should be an outreach with a girl scout troop in March
Trebuchet might be continuing if there is interest in the club
UASEDS is participating Yuri's night
UASEDS will looking into the event of giving out moon trees for other SEDS clubs
Kyle will talk to someone about Mirror Lab tour
Trips: LBT; New Mexico: VLA and Trinity (weekend of Apr 3rd); Pima; Titian Missile
Kevin will make a list of things to visit in New Mexico
Mike will create an Opportunity page on the website for internships and such information
There will be resume building meeting
Officers are to think of names for speakers (teachers, students) that will give a presentation of their research
Kevin will talk to Chris about making UASEDS T-shirts
Fundraiser ideas are raffles, movie night, refreshment selling
The first general meeting will be on Jan 22nd in Steward N305
Triana will make flyer for the upcoming meeting (Free Pizza-> bigger than SEDS-> it helps if you like space->top)
Club fairs: Engineering Feb 16th (posters and rocket, maybe telescope)
UASEDS will into buying textbooks from students to start a new library
The first Game Night will be on Jan 23 with time and date to be determine
SID will be taken at the meetings to check student status
