General Meeting Minutes - 11/5/08

Kyle was planning on going to Costco for food for the trip

There are four cars going on the trip
There is a plan for the people that are going within the cars
There are three hotel rooms for the trip
Memebers that are going, be prepared to spend $75 or more at the conference
UA SEDS is going to bring our 18" telescope for the conference
UA SEDS are planning on going to Johnson Space Center as we head towards Space Vision
Astronomy and SEDS are going to have a joint Star Party on Monday on Mt Lemmon starting at 4 pm
There is a middle school that is touring the campus space Nov 18th
There's a telescope meeting this Saturday at noon
There's a rocket event near Phoenix on the weekend of Nov 22nd
Members that are interested in going to this event, please contact Kevin
Mike wants people to send him images of events so he can put them on the website
There is a calendar on the website with all the events that we're going to do
Trebuchet meetings might be on Thursday
There's a Game Night tomorrow night
Kyle gave an overview of the proposal that we were submitting for Space Vision of 2009
New Space Business group gave us an update on their speaker series, which concerns people from the business part of getting people in space
Their speaker series will start either December or next semester that all students can attend
UA SEDS will let you know when and where these series are taking place
