The SEDS-USA 4TH Quarter 2010 NOVA Magazine is finally here! Inside, you can find a look at this year’s SpaceVision Conference, held by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaigne SEDS chapter, as well as a new interview with one of our alumni in the Alumni Spotlight. Also featured is a look at the SEDS Endowment Fund, the naming of the NASA Mars Science Laboratory, and a look back at the incredible year 2010 was for the space industry!
There are now less than 20 days left to participate on behalf of your chapter in the SEDS SpaceWiki Winter 2010 contest. We’re working to help our friends at the new website www.spacewiki.com generate articles about companies, people, and events in the “New Space” industry. And, if your chapter is able to generate the greatest amount of useful additions to the wiki by February 1, you could win $600 for your chapter to use on your own projects and programs at your school!

During the final day of the 2010 Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS-USA) SpaceVision conference at the University of Illinois, representatives from SEDS chapters across the country voted to appoint twelve new board members to lead the national student organization for the 2010-2011 term.
