Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS-USA) is excited about SpaceUp DC, an unConference being held in Washington D.C. this weekend, August 27-28, 2010, and encourages any interested students to attend.  The SpaceUp unconference is working to bring together all types of space enthusiasts at our nation's capital including regular people interested in space, students, and rocket scientists from NASA and private companies.  The idea of an unconference (similar to a barcamp) is to allow all these people to participate and collaborate on vaulting humankind into space, a mission that cannot be done by engineers and scientists alone.
