A great way to get people together is to find a good place to grill and then watch a space movie (or launch rockets, stargaze, or play sports) after grilling your favorite food. Just ask students to bring their own meat to grill, help provide grilling equipment and know how, and you’ve got a great gathering.
Doing a barbecue is a great low-key way to get more friends interested in SEDS and how space exploration relates to their field of study.
