WELCOME TO THE ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY MAILING LIST!

This list is for the discussion of Film Astrophotography. The list is limited to film photography only. Discussion of CCD cameras should be limited to autoguiding only.
Please feel free to contribute to this list regardless of your experience level. We hope that this list will allow us all to exchange ideas and experiences, so that we all might better enjoy this fascinating hobby.
KEEP THIS INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR COMPUTER FOR AS LONG AS YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE APML
Below are some guidelines that list members are expected to follow.
1. Please keep in mind that some list members must pay for their
e-mail on a per message basis. Therefore, BEFORE POSTING TO
THIS GROUP, consider whether the topic is Astrophotography related
or should be posted more appropriately to another group that is
more relevant, such as a newsgroup.
2. Any posts that stray from the subject of Astrophotography
should be moved to private email between the members
who are interested in the topic.
3. Replies to the mailing should be "trimmed" down to pertinent
quotes.
The most taxing thing on a server and the mailing list it runs
are on replies.

4. Do not post binary files to the list. If you have any doubt
about what you can post to the list, send mail to
owner-astro-photo@seds.org
5. Please IN THE SUBJECT LINE, the specific subject matter
you will be talking about. Examples:
Film to Use?
Exposure time for Nebula?
Best method?
- Off topic posts have varying degrees of relevancy, but should
be preceded by OFF TOPIC: or OT:
- Please use common sense when posting to the list.
- Posts to the list will have APML in the subject line
6. Other related News Group or Mailing List.
