“At the November 5^th SEDS meeting, president Jake Gamsky and treasurer Cory Parker gave a presentation on NASA’s present and future goals. Various paths that NASA could possibly take and projects in the works were discussed. A brief video of the Ares 1-X launch that took place shortly before the meeting was played along with clips of the ATHLETE and Chariot lunar rovers. Following the presentation, Tim Knauer assisted in a visit to the McAdams Student Observatory. Everyone that attended had the opportunity to use the telescope and see its amazing views. Tim shared his knowledge of the stars, planets, and universe to make an educational yet enjoyable evening.”
