“At the November 5^{th SEDS} meeting, president Jake Gamsky and treasurer Cory Parker gave a presentation on NASA’s present and future goals. Various paths that NASA could possibly take and projects in the works were discussed. A brief video of the Ares 1-X launch that took place shortly before the meeting was played along with clips of the ATHLETE and Chariot lunar rovers. Following the presentation, Tim Knauer assisted in a visit to the McAdams Student Observatory. Everyone that attended had the opportunity to use the telescope and see its amazing views.
