Andrew Dianetti currently serves as the Project Manager for the University Student Rocketry Competition, where he is responsible for development and administration of the competition, as well as serving as the point of contact for all participating teams. He is a graduate student at the University at Buffalo studying aerospace engineering. His research interests include attitude dynamics and estimation. He received his BS in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering in 2013 from UB.
Andrew has been involved with SEDS since 2009, when he joined the UB chapter. He served as chapter president from 2010-2012, as well as SEDS-USA Director of Finance from 2011-2013, and was the chair of the SpaceVision 2012 conference in Buffalo, NY. He is actively involved with the UB Nanosat team, having served as its program manager from 2012-2014, and has worked at the Air Force Research Laboratory and the NASA Glenn Research Center.
