Lacaille II.6

According to Glen Cozens of Australia, Lacaille II.6 is perhaps identical to star cluster Trumpler 10. This observation can be supported by the present author.

The first to - indirectly - identify this was Arthur Auwers (Auwers 1862). Auwers found it to be identical to James Dunlop's Dun 490 (Dunlop 1828). Dunlop in turn had used Johann Elert Bode's atlas and catalog "Uranographia" (Bode 1801), who had listeed Lacaille's object as "f 396 Argus."
