The SEDS chapter at Vellore Institute of Technology in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India, will host the 2007 SEDS International Conference in Hyderabad, India in conjunction with the 2007 International Astronautical Congress. This is the annual opportunity for SEDS members worldwide to transcend electronic communication and meet face-to-face.
- A competition with prizes for students will be conducted with SEDSIC: a Lunar rover design competition. Students will design a series of mini rovers for remotely controlled exploration. Letters of intent are due by 13 July and design submissions are due by 3 August. See the official rules for details.
- Registration will begin in May and close in August. The cost for students will be 500 INR for Indian nationals and 750 INR for international students (until 20 August).
